This professional Haze Meter is a high precision test instrument to measure the Haze and the Light Transmission of samples including transparent and semi-transparent samples for research and quality management:

• Haze Measurement: It is a measure of the amount of light that is scattered by particles in a material. It is measured by determining the amount of light that is scattered from the incident light. A material with high haze will have more scattering and will appear hazy. A material with low haze will have less scattering and will appear clear.
• Light Transmission Measurement: It is a measure of the amount of light that passes through a material. It is measured by determining the ratio of the light that is transmitted to the light that is incident on the material. A material with high light transmission will allow more light to pass through it. A material with low light transmission will allow less light to pass through it.

This precision Haze Meter consists of an advanced C Light Source and A Light Source, a high-precision Camera and an Optical System. The advanced Light Source illuminates the sample located in the open Sample Area and the high-precision Camera measures the amount of light that is scattered by the sample. Clarity and Haze and Light Transmission are automatically calculated from the sample measurements.
