Product Description:
Qualtech Products Industry Coulometric Karl Fischer Titrator is a professional Automatic Karl Fischer Titration System to safely determine the moisture content in samples at the touch of a button.
The Karl Fischer Test Method is performed with two different Karl Fischer Titration Test Methods each offering advantages which might indicate which Karl Fischer Titration Test Method may be best suited for a specific Water Content Measurement Application:
- Coulometric karl Fischer Titrator
- Volumetric Karl Fischer Titrator
The Volumetric Karl Fischer Titration Method is usually best suited for samples with an expected Water Content of more than 1%. The Volumetric Karl Fischer Titrator requires a specialized Karl Fischer Reagent to perform the Water Content Analysis which has a specified titer which may change over time and requires frequent verification with a Calibrated Water Standard. The Volumetric Karl Fischer Method is less accurate compared to the Coulometric Karl Fischer Titrator but is suitable for larger sample volumes.
The Coulometric Karl Fischer Titration Method is usually best suited for samples with an expected Water Content across the full range from 0.0% - 100.0% and offers a much higher accuracy compared to the Volumetric Karl Fischer Titrator, hence the Coulometric Karl Fischer Titrator is also suitable for samples with a very low Water Content below 1%. Based on the high accuracy of the Colulometric Karl Fischer Titrator it is often referred to as the 'Absolute Karl Fischer Method'. The Coulometric Karl Fischer Sample Container has two compartments, one compartment is for the Anode, the second compartment is for the Kathode. The Volumetric Karl Fischer Titrator offers a higher accuracy and completes sample tests faster compared to the Volumetric Karl Fischer Titrator. In addition, the Coulometric Karl Fischer Titrator doesn't require an ongoing calibration for the Karl Fischer Reagent and the Solvent doesn't need to be replaced after each sample tests allowing for possibly lower ongoing costs and a more convenient application.
This professional Automatic Coulometric Karl Fischer Titrator is engineered to measure the moisture content of a wide range of samples including solids and liquids with a moisture content in the range from 10µg - 20mg.
