Qualtech Products Industry Martindale Tester is a professional Martindale Abrasion and Pilling Tester to instantly determine the Abrasion and Pilling Performance of textile samples at the touch of a button.
The Martindale Abrasion and Pilling Test is performed in the textile industry and in the leather industry when manufacturing and dyeing fabrics and textiles and leather products. The Martindale Abrasion Test performs a specified Martindale Abrasion Motion to determine the resistance of samples to abrasion and pilling. During the Martindale Test the textile structure of the sample is exposed to a specified Abradant whilst performing a specified Martindale Wear Motion under specified low pressure.
The Martindale Pilling Test evaluates the resistance of samples to pilling. Pilling is the formation of a tiny balls of broken and entangled fibers on the surface of the fabric or textile sample by abrasion or rubbing.
