The Wyzenbeek Oscillatory Test Method determines the resistance of woven samples to abrasion and wear by performing a continuous Double-Rub-Motion. The sample is mounted on a Sample Holder Frame and is rubbed continuously against a Cotton Duck. Every completed Double-Rub-Motion counts as one completed Abrasion Cycle. The Wyzenbeek Abrasion Test is suitable for a wide range of samples including Upholstery Fabrics for furniture.
