Qualtech Products Industry Haze Meter QPI-HM8000 is an automatic Haze and Clarity and Light-Transmittance and Turbidity Test Instrument offering instant sample measurements and high accuracy and reliable performance at the touch of a button.

This professional Haze Meter is a high precision test instrument to measure the haze and the light transmission of samples including transparent and semi-transparent samples for research and quality management:

• Haze Measurement: It is a measure of the amount of light that is scattered by particles in a material. It is measured by determining the amount of light that is scattered from the incident light. A material with high haze will have more scattering and will appear hazy. A material with low haze will have less scattering and will appear clear.
• Light Transmission Measurement: It is a measure of the amount of light that passes through a material. It is measured by determining the ratio of the light that is transmitted to the light that is incident on the material. A material with high light transmission will allow more light to pass through it. A material with low light transmission will allow less light to pass through it.

This precision Haze Meter consists of an advanced D65 and C & A Light Source, a high-precision Camera and an Optical System. The advanced Light Source illuminates the sample located in the open Sample Area and the high-precision Camera measures the amount of light that is scattered by the sample. Clarity and Haze and Light Transmission are automatically calculated from the sample measurements.

This professional Automatic Haze Meter offers the newest microchip technology combined with a large Color Touchscreen Display, simultaneous measurement of Haze and Light Transmission, a large and open Sample Area ideal for smaller samples and larger samples, three high precision Light Source including D65 & A & C, a high precision Camera for instant highly accurate and reliable sample measurements, a USB port to instantly download Sample Test Data to an external USB Drive, seamless PC-Connectivity and PC Software for advanced data management, data analysis, data presentation, data sharing and much more.
