The Martindale Abrasion Test performs a specified Martindale Abrasion Motion to determine the resistance of samples to abrasion and pilling. During the Martindale Test the textile structure of the sample is exposed to a specified Abradant whilst performing a specified Martindale Wear Motion under specified low pressure.
