Gustavsson Flowmeter Kit - Features

El Gustavsson Funnel method is used to evaluate the flowability and apparent density of fine powders, especially metallic and ceramic powders used in additive manufacturing, powder metallurgy, and high‑precision industrial processes. The Gustavsson Flowmeter Test Method uses a calibrated precision engineered Gustavsson Funnel with a 2.5 mm orifice, allowing the powder to flow freely under gravity while measuring the flow time and the mass of powder that passes through. This provides insight into how powders behave during dosing, filling, spreading, or sintering operations.

Experts rely on the Gustavsson Flowmeter Kit because it offers a repeatable, low‑complexity measurement that correlates strongly with particle morphology, surface roughness, moisture content, and internal friction.
