Automatic Buoyancy Density Meter - Application:
El Buoyancy Density Beter Test Method is based on Archimedes' Principle, which states that the Buoyant Force exerted on a body immersed in a fluid is equal to the weight of the fluid displaced by the body.
This Test Method works by first weighing the sample in air. This represents the sample's weight in a vacuum, or its True Sample Weight. The sample is then weighed again while immersed in a liquid of known density. The difference in weight between the two measurements is the Buoyant Force.
The buoyant force can be calculated using the following equation:
Buoyant Force = (Density of the Liquid) * (Volume of the Sample)
El Volume of the Sample can be calculated by dividing the Buoyant Force by the Density of the Liquid.
El Density of the Sample can then be calculated using the following equation:
Density of Sample = (True Sample Weight) / (Volume of the Sample)
