Y Test Method for Abrasion Resistance is performed by mounting a sample onto the Sample Platform. The Sample Platform is a turntable which rotates the sample at a specified speed. The Abrasive Wear Action is achieved with the two specified Abrasive Wheels rotating in opposite directions set and kept in motion by a the rotating Sample Platform. The Abrading Wheels travel on the sample surface following a horizontal axis displaced tangentially from the axis of the test material which results in a sliding action.
