Y Malwr Muller is a reliable method which relies on raw sample materials which are applied on a small specified area on the Lower Glass Platen. The raw sample material is milled in successive stages with 445N.  Each Milling Stage completes a specified number of Milling Cycles, for example, 50 cycles. After each Milling Stage, the raw sample material is redistributed on the Lower Glass Platen and the milling continues with the consecutive Milling Stage. The Laboratory Muller Grinder Test is suitable for a wide range of sample materials including and especially pigments to determine the color and the strength of chromatic pigments a'r relative tinting strength of white pigments.
