The standard test to professionally determine the Minimum Film Forming Temperature of paint and coatings suggests using a Minimum Film Forming Temperature Bar as specified in recognized international test standards.
Adhesives:
Die Minimum Film Forming Temperature von One-Pack Epoxy Adhesives is measured by applying the same test method as suggested for paint and coatings.
When testing Two-Pack Epoxy Adhesives a small piece of Aluminum Foil is placed on the Sample Platen prior the application of the sample to facilitate a user-friendly cleaning after the sample test when removing the sample.
Two-Pack Epoxy Adhesives don't indicate a Minimum Film Forming Temperature, however, the Minimum Cure Temperature can be determined by scraping the sample with a PVC Spatula.
