De Textile Pop Test is performed by mounting the sample between two ring-shaped sample clamps. A rubber diaphragm is slowly and automatically inflated and expands towards the substrate applying slowly increasing physical stress on the sample until the substrate ruptures.
De Fabrics Pop Test och Textiles Pop Test is performed on each side of the sample to offer test results with a very high accuracy. The Burst Strength Result is calculated as the average means of both sides of the Pop Test.
