Wet Abrasion Scrub Tester – ASTM D 2486:
This professional Wet Abrasion Scrub Tester is complaint with the ASTM D 2486 Standard to test scrub resistance of interior wall paint. To perform this Wet Abrasion Scrub Test the paint is applied to a black plastic panel and is allowed to cure. The panel of the Wet Abrasion Scrub Tester is scrubbed with a nylon bristle brush until failure occurs. An abrasive scrub media is used to accelerate the test. The Wet Abrasion Scrub Tester Base Unit is supplied with a carriage assembly and an applied loading weight of 454grams and 2 nylon bristle brushes according to the ASTM D 2486 for professional and precise testing series in research and laboratory.
Washability Scrub Tester – ISO 11998 /BS3900:
Qualtech Products Industry Wet Abrasion Scrub Tester is compliant with the ISO 11998 and BS 3900 Standards. The ISO test method describes a short version of the wet abrasion scrub test. This Wet Abrasion Scrub Tester uses special pads and the washing liquid is manually applied before starting the test. The Wet Abrasion Scrub Test is finished for evaluation after 200 scrub cycles. The evaluation of the wash/scrub resistance is done by calculating the loss of mass. This Wet Abrasion Scrub Tester Base Unit supplied with a precise carriage assembly giving applied loading of 135grams and 2 non woven abrasive pads for precise and professional applications in research and laboratory.
Wet Abrasion Scrub Tester – EN 13300 (replaces DIN 53778):
This Wet Abrasion Scrub Tester is compliant with the EN 13300 Standard (replaces DIN 53778 Standard). The Wet Abrasion Scrub Testing area should be free of residuals.
Wash Resistance: Evaluation after 1000 scrub cycles.
Scrub resistance: Evaluation after 5000 scrub cycles.
This wet scrub abrasion test is performed wet using a hog bristle brush and a pump to apply the washing liquid. The evaluation is done visually. The Wet Abrasion Tester Base Unit is supplied with a precise carriage assembly with an applied load of 250grams and 2 natural bristle brushes for precise and professional applications in research and laboratory.
